WE ARE PRODUCERS, COMPOSERS, SONGWRITERS, DJ’S, AND PERFORMERS.

Sometimes we make music for commercials and film, and sometimes we make music for ourselves, but we always approach our projects with passion, love, and respect.

We also like coffee, plants, and pretty much anything that makes sound.

Rob Niederpruem
Rob Niederpruem

is the Executive Producer and Co-Founder of Hyperballad Music. He produces The Bones of Jr Jones and is a member of Fete Sad Girls project. He also plays guitar but seems to only know Spoon songs.

Jonathan Benedict
Jonathan Benedict

is the Creative Director and Co-Founder of Hyperballad Music. As a producer and remixer, he has worked with Rihanna, Azealia Banks, Ruth B, and Yoko Ono, among others. He is obsessed with coffee and vintage British recording technology, and has way too many opinions about movies.

Alex “Hammer” Hamadey

is a skilled composer and producer. He records and performs as N’Conduit and runs two independent record labels (Voodoo Down and Rock N’ Roll Records). He also keeps a journal of notes from every Samurai movie he has ever watched.

Matt Bauder

is a wonderful multi-instrumentalist who is best known for his talents with the saxophone. He has toured extensively with Arcade Fire and Iron and Wine, and he also records and performs with his band Hearing Things. His wit is like a diamond arrow which always finds its mark.

Stephanie Lawrence

is an innovative composer, beat-maker, and saxophonist. She currently works as a DJ and MPC-performer (often with Harlem-based performer Latasha) and has several projects in the works. She knows all.

Greg Paulus

is a brilliant composer and trumpet-player. He records and tours with his band No Regular Play, and writes orchestral music on bar napkins. When not making music, he can be found enjoying a nice rajas con papas taco at Cervezeria.

Taylor Bense

is remarkable producer and musician who is just as comfortable with his guitar as he is on the turntables. He currently writes and records under his own name, and has several massive dance records up his sleeve at any given time. He will be happy to say hi to your mother for you.
